Vercel’s edge is global and excellent for a global audience. We run our own machines in Colombo, Singapore and Bangalore — which matters when your users and your data are in one country and your regulator has opinions about both.
The database and the jobs come with the app
A Postgres instance, scheduled jobs and a domain are provisioned alongside the application rather than bought from a marketplace and connected by hand.
One invoice, in your currency
Billed monthly in local currency rather than on a card in dollars — which for a Sri Lankan company is a procurement question before it is a pricing one.

Who should not switch
If your product is a global-audience frontend, stay. Their edge network is better than ours and will remain so — that is their whole business and it is not ours.
If you are deep in Next.js and using the framework’s newest features, stay. Nobody runs Next.js better than the people who write it.
